Did I miss something? I know no one was paying attention to Olbermann but did he do something that bad that no one tunes in anymore, even though they weren't listening? I think we have all decided that we are bored with KO lately. Something like that, yes. Although Moon and I are mounting a campaign to get him to stop referring to Glenn Beck as Harold Hill, the loveable rogue in THE MUSIC MAN, and refer to Beck as Lonesome Rhodes, the evil, cynical broadcaster who holds his listeners in contempt, played by Andy Griffith in A FACE IN THE CROWD.

Hang in there, hon. My brother's been out of work (layoff) for several months now. Just heard from my niece Miss A today that he got a job--packing individual ketchup & mustard for fast food places! Which, rather to my surprise, pays a hell of a lot more than you'd think-- Good for him! Very often one job will lead to a new and better one. Thanks so much, Katie and ditto what Linda said, GOOD FOR HIM!!

He's been doing that? ? Shameful!! And keep up with the campaign!! Lonesome Rhodes is SO fitting, great selection!!

Good evening Katie and Patty. Pssst, Katie, you're still not missing anything. I sort of thought I wasn't, Linda. However, I like this idea of blogging with or without Olbermann. Which is why this U2 song seems appropriate: www.youtube.com/watch?v=WdlPjAJFIrwAlthough I'm faring well without him, akshuly. ;D There's another guy who could sing phone book, as far as I'm concerned.

Thanks, Patty; I'm just very lucky and so grateful I have a supportive family; my Uncle has offered to help me out - he did last month and when I was up there two weeks ago, he told me to look for a "good deal on a salon" and he would "help me out", which means he would give me the money to buy it. It's too much money, but there may be some good deals; he wants me to do it and he is really kind of excited about me owning my own business. I am truly blessed with my family; my Uncle has been there for me since before I was born!! The expression, "He's a Saint" really does fit him!! Good luck with that, Pam. It's a lot of hard work to run your own business, especially a salon. But I know that before long, you'll have more work than you can handle and stylists working for you. Thanks, moon, really, that's so kind!!

I think we have all decided that we are bored with KO lately. I confess I do watch the rerun. What else is a single person supposed to do between 9 and 10 o'clock on a Friday night? ;D Bowling league?

Okay, the tiramisu was a bust ... how about some espresso cheesecake? My SIL gave me a piece of Godiva chocolate cheesecake on Sunday. I didn't even have to ask. It was delicious, but I had to eat it in 3 servings. Chocolate overload.
