Watching Michelle Malkin on The View Monday, finally convinced me this woman is indeed a looney tune. She wrote a book and, of course, is touring. She said President Obama's administration is the 'most corrupt' then any other administration. She denied it was in the book, even though Whoopi had it in her notes, but at the end of the show Whoopi mentioned Malkin had said the quote on the Today Show. Malkin was rude and obnoxious. www.theview.tv/video/michelle-malkin

Our ignoring her is the biggest of her fears.

What for? Those in power in the GOP WANT this nonsense, encourage this nonsense, and incite this nonsense. This is what happens when you have an ignorant populace brought up on Jerry Springer and reality TV being manipulated cleverly by the man behind the curtain. Somehow these folks have been convinced not only that the Earth is flat and was created 6,000 years ago, but that they are, as Michelle Malkin put it, some kind of righteous "counterinsurgency." Never mind that the "insurgency" is actually the MAJORITY of the people and a LEGITIMATELY elected president. Those are just facts, you know? Can't let those get in the way of righteous indignation and Bible wavin', book-burnin', witch huntin' zealotry. There's something happening here What it is ain't exactly clear ... I'm old enough to remember when protests were about something important, like Apartheid or wars being fought for no reason. Somehow these folks completely missed the last one of those. THIS, on the other hand, is completely without REAL purpose ... "whatever you're for, we're ag'in." Sort of like Waco hits the streets. What a field-day for the heat A thousand people in the streets Singin' songs and carryin' signs Mostly say 'hooray' for our side .... For what it's worth? Not much.

Paranoia strikes deep Into your life it will creep It starts when you're always afraid You step out of line, the man come and take you away and they all need to be taken away..

I suspected as much... gawker.com/5332558/whats-bad-for-the-gop-is-good-for-fox-news?skyline=true&s=x"Fox News posted an astonishing 50% jump in profit last quarter amid a disastrous advertising recession, and it's basically the only thing making money in Rupert Murdoch's empire. Why? Because the GOP has cratered. Fox News' viewership is up 45% over the last year, and it's easy to see why: The ascendancy of a charismatic black Democrat has driven frightened, paranoid, enraged, nativist zealots into the ideological embrace of an outlet that habitually reconfirms everything they already believe. Watching Glenn Beck's spell-binding sermons on Barack Obama's racism is comforting to people who believe that their way of life—namely, one in which fatherly white Christians protect us from danger both internal and external—is under attack. So they do it more frequently. Tuning into Hannity et.al. becomes a life-affirming political act...." [ follow the link for a graph]

Any democrat would have had it tough, ala Bill Clinton, remember how he tried to play nice and what they did to him? But the GOP has really hit an all-time low with Obama; they are using his race to instill more fear and hatred!! If it makes you feel any better, as it did me, Steve from NH posted this below on my Facebook wall today; and even before I read his post, as I watched some of these nut job noise makers on CNN today at the HCR townhall meetings, I must admit, I did begin to feel a bit entertained; they are truly pathetic!! The GOP 'Shoutleaders' are at it. Y'know, its starting to be amusing how the Republicans once had it all their way with their hubristic semi-truth activities, and now, everything they do is variations of shooting themselves in the foot. I've gone from angry, to annoyed, and now to entertained. They honestly don't realize how silly and bratty they look. Hey, far be it from me to tell them. Another couple of elections and the two parties might be 'Democrats' and 'Not-Republicans".PEACE!!

Hi Moon and Pam. How was your Friday? Great. It rained here, which we need, and was cool. Hot this weekend, though. How was your day?

Hi Moon and Pam. How was your Friday? Hi, Linda; it was a lazy day for me; I am exhausted, both emotionally and physically and needed a day. Actually, a day and a half; I took part of yesterday off from the job hunt, too. It gets discouraging after a bit and it begins to mess with the mind. How was YOUR day?

We've had a three-week heat wave here in LA; it was over a hundred degrees several days but today, it's back in the 80's. I feel for you and hope you've been doing everything to stay cool!!

I'm looking through my bucket to try to find some variety, so if you've seen this before, I apologize. This is a tiramisu in a glass. Chris Matthews made a very good point tonight, which was that the real problem is that democrats and other in favor of health care reform are NOT out in the streets protesting. Why not? Where is the real grassroots effort right now? We're the ones who want reform, and yet we're not the ones out there screaming about it. In fact, Obama is apparently telling democratic groups targeting the blue dogs to knock it off.

Now, this is one of the things that has been very frustrating about Obama; he needs to give the GOP the middle finger and move on!! As far as the Blue Dogs, I say let the democrats (liberals and progressives) give 'em Hell; they're holding up things, too!!

Well, apparently Axelrod is telling democrat-leaning groups to lay off the blue dogs. I'm starting to lose my confidence in these guys. If you can't use the moral highground when you have it, you certainly can't use it when you don't. And they way things are going, it might not be that long until they don't.

Speaking of Fox loonies, here's a good one: after his rant last week about Mr. Obama's "deep-seeded hatred of white people", Glenn Beck is losing mega advertising $$$. P & G, Geico, S. C. Johnson--and those are just a few of the companies whose customers are turning on them and turning them off Beck.
He may end up like Lonesome Rhodes after all. Yelling, "Ailes, don't leave me!" (^_~)

Yes!!! That's one petition I didn't waste my time on when I signed it. Now, if only the one about Lou Dobbs has the same effect.

This guy takes things way too far; FOX rid Michelle Malkin for her radical views (odd - FOX rids someone for radical views considering the bozos they have on their station); hopefully, they'll rid Beck, too and he will be permanently unemployed!! I never understood why CNN employed him on Headline News!!
