Did you know that Rachel's going to be on MTP along with D.ick Armey. I don't think he'll attempt to give her the same treatment as Joan ?. Joan Walsh. No, I don't think he'll try that with Rachel. Not that Gregory won't egg him on to try, but I don't think he'll succeed. Thanks, Katie.

Lovely to be seen. Been working way too much lately... Good news about your mother, Patty. And according to KO, La ex-Governess is on Facebook, spouting her usual nonsense. I may be the last person in the US who hasn't joined. Then somebody's using your name, because I sent a friend request to a L-- B-----. If you do join, maybe better send Albert or DT. Harrumph. This may require some investigatin'

I went back in today and rec'd that person too. You did note, I also noted that I haven't watched the Big Man in some time, then prudently hid out with the cat under the wicker chair behind the Mack-truck-sized Boston fern. (Which I actually have on the front porch.) Confession time for all. I did, too. So, ladies, we are unanimous in this? (RIP to Mollie Sugden. I always loved that: ". . .and I am unanimous in this.")

Well, I probably offended a few people at Kos last night when I rec'd some comments by some person who was expressing that view. Next thing you know he was labeled "clueless" and "negative." I guess that means me, too. See, Fair ... I AM getting senile. I went back in today and rec'd that person too. You did note, I also noted that I haven't watched the Big Man in some time, then prudently hid out with the cat under the wicker chair behind the Mack-truck-sized Boston fern. (Which I actually have on the front porch.) Sorry, I didn't go back to look. It's getting too discouraging for me. Not because I'm bored with Countdown, but because people get beaten up with personal epithets merely for expressing an opinion. That guy or gal today was pretty brave ... and articulate.

Blind devotion is just so boring. Unanimous on what particular point? On anything that Mrs. Slocum herself had to say.

We've all said that we miss the trolls. They do have a purpose, some of the time. Well, there are some pretty interesting and articulate "troll" types over at First Read. I like how both sides are welcomed there, even if it moves too fast and/or erratically for me to be a regular contributor.

Blind devotion is just so boring. Unanimous on what particular point? Us on we're dissaffected w/the Big Man at present. In Mollie Sugden's case, it meant Mrs. Slocombe had put her foot down. Sort of like Her Divine Bovineness. Hey, Moon, remember I asked over at CC's three weeks ago who Larda** was and never got an answer? Got one about five minutes ago at Facebook.

On anything that Mrs. Slocum herself had to say. Sure. What did she say? She'd been with Grace Brothers thirty-odd years, so she used that one a lot, especially when she was nose-to-nose with her immediate superior, Capt. Peac*ck. And then, of course, there were the double-entendre references to her pet cat: "my pus*sy."
