Ironic that these days D*ck Cheney's theme song could be this piece by France's tragic songbird, Edith Piaf: www.youtube.com/watch?v=kFRuLFR91e4"No, I regret nothing". Wanna blog?

Cheney seems to like swimming against the current. He KNOWS there are a huge number of people who would like to see him tried for his sadism and treason and lying, and yet he natters on.
Hi, Moon, Linda and lurkers.

Hey, Katie ~ Matthews had a guest who called Miss California a martyr for the anti-gay marriage group. LoL

If I remember right, the burden of proof falls to his defense team, but he's doing a whole lot of their work for them. He's getting less coherent by the hour--approximately how often he's clogging the airwaves.

I loved how some pundit put it last hour -- he acts like someone who says he's got the exam answers right there in his pocket ... That can only appeal to the weakest of intellects.

Okay, so everybody's going after Wanda Sykes for her slurs against Rush Limbaugh--which I grant were out there--but why is no one going after the unspeakable Christopher Hitchens for referring to Sykes, on air, as a "black dy*ke?"
Two points: is everybody giving him a pass because he's a hopeless alcoholic? And I've heard him called one of the world's great intellectuals. If THAT is an intellectual, then THANK GOD I'M NOT ONE.

Cheney has admitted to allowing torture to be used. What is the Dept. of Justice waiting for?

I was listening to Stephanie Miller's show in the car this morning, and her producer (can't recall his name), used an even worse expression to describe gay women. Sometimes liberals are their own worst enemies, too.

Also, it's sickening that Donald Trump would let her keep her crown for no better reason than he likes stirring up hornets' nests.

Also, it's sickening that Donald Trump would let her keep her crown for no better reason than he likes stirring up hornets' nests. Some guy was arguing how gay adoption was bad, and when pressed for why, he said because every child deserves to be raised by their own natural parents ... and no one pointed out to him that when you're talking about adoption, you're already past that lame argument. Sheesh.

Trump is another who has no real values. He'll say and do anything as long as it puts money in his pocket. Ms. California serves his purpose perfectly. And she, poor dear, has no idea that she is just a pawn.

Hitchens is a pseudo-intellectual and pompous narcissist. True. And I cannot for the life of me understand why any news organization would think he honestly has anything analytical, thoughtful, insightful, or truthful to say. I'm STILL fuming over him declaring the late Mother Teresa an atheist because she endured a fifty year dark night of the soul.
