Actually, I was thinking that Melito and Musto might be a nice break right now. Did they ever get to the bottom of the American Idol is rigged controversy?

There's always Maria Mollito and the Repulsive Musto. ARRRRGGGHHHHH!!!!!! If he has either of those two on more than once in a blue moon, Fair's strike may become permanent. (Hey, Big Man, I CAN be bribed with chocolate, though. Just sayin'. ) You think Olbermann would give you chocolate? NOW who's delusional?

At the risk of sounding totally evil, I'm gonna say it: he could hire some of the gang at Kos for ringers. Not us, but some of the others. That reminds me ... Did you see the Repetitive Troll at Krista's last night? Made me laugh, especially for all the ire that the person raised, especially because of the reference to Bathtub head, which used to be John Gibson, not BillO. Someone said he/she had registered yesterday, but that's not possible because you can't post within the same 24 hours that you register. Huh-uh. I only checked in long enough to rec your "reward for Strait Talk" and to read about Dio's health problems. That was scary. Tell me more about this troll person.

Well, he can't have Richard Wolffe on any more, although he hasn't said that yet, probably because it would embarrass him. Milbank is gone .... The cast seems to be thinning, for sure. At the risk of sounding totally evil, I'm gonna say it: he could hire some of the gang at Kos for ringers. Not us, but some of the others. I rarely read that site at Kos, but it amazes me how brain-washed some of those people are. The next time one of them has an independent thought, will be the first time.

I can't remember if it was last night or the night before. Maybe the night before. Anyway, it was pretty late, whichever thread it was on ... it wasn't there when I first read it. Some person made a snarky comment about Olbermann vs. O'Reilly, I think. Relatively mild, but it drew a lot of angry responses. Not so much from Krista, of course, but from everyone else, especially Dio. Her passion for Olbermann, and her refusal to recognize that he has any weaknesses, is something else. Maybe I've just been doing this too long, but I REALLY don't get that. But that's just about par for Kos culture, I suppose.

The one I saw was from two nights ago, and was the guy bi*tchin' about the Big Man doing Lou Dobbs with a Yoda voice.

I'm going to bid you ladies a good night. This weather gives me dreadful headaches. Good night, Linda. I'm cutting out in a few minutes myself. Ironically, we just had an amazing decision from our state Supreme Court -- from the self-professed ANTI-judicial-activists -- who basically re-wrote a state statute and overturned most of our existing precedent on non-competition agreements. Results-oriented, if ever there was, and completely activist. So, I have a little work to do tonight regarding that, and then probably early to bed again.

That never seems to occur to the anti-activists like Dubya--that when they overturn certain statutes they are in fact legislating from the bench, the very vice they accuse their opponents of.

That never seems to occur to the anti-activists like Dubya--that when they overturn certain statutes they are in fact legislating from the bench, the very vice they accuse their opponents of. Well, of course, they didn't expressly overturn it. They just read all the guts out of it and left a shell. The Chief Justice, for whom I interned, wrote what I thought was a VERY measured response (I would have been hopping mad), in which she laid out quite clearly all the ways that what they did were contrary to the statute and the existing case law. She's something else, too. She's 75 and she just ran for re-election because,m with the current climate, she didn't want to risk losing another progressive seat on the Court. Turns out it didn't matter after all. SHE should have been on the US Supreme Court. You never saw a jurist smarter than she, or one who worked harder.

She mentioned it in her diary, and wisely deduced that he gets away with it because the Delectable doesn't have to clean the shower. ;D

One of the reasons Sotomayor was chosen has to have been her relative youth.

Hard for me to believe I've been a fangirl for--Lord have mercy. Seventeen years? Anyway, better him than the Big Man. Just sayin'-- Moon, I think I'm gonna sign out for the night. Jamie sent me a link to Vladimir Horowitz playing a Schumann piece and I'm gonna listen to it and then, I think, try to have an early night. (It was 4 AM before I got to sleep last night.) The chocolate was fantastic tonight-- Check in with ya in the morning. Love & hugs--
