I just sneaked another peek at the Big Man and he's looking orange on MY TV now. They really need to look closer at him before they put him in front of the cameras.

Just looked in over at Craig's for a second and one of the girls says she heard in passing that Teddy Kennedy is not expected to be able to attend Eunice's memorial. I knew he's been away from DC most of the summer (otherwise the healthcare debate would look very different, I have no doubt). But I didn't realize things were this bad. That is very sad.

Here are some refreshing-looking fruit kabobs. I'm very sorry to hear the news about Teddy Kennedy. If he had been healthy maybe things would have been different, but he wasn't able to make the deal in 1993, either.

Okay, that's a brilliant burglar for ya--tried to hold up a bar where twenty off-duty cops are the patrons. Yeesh.

Do you ever wonder why Countdown doesn't have his own radio talk show? Everyone else does, and still manages ... except for Tweety, maybe.

Do you know why they're blaming that on the plane? The helicopter flies full front into the airplane's path. How wouldn't the helicopter have seen the plane? Being more maneuverable, you would think the helicopter could have avoided that.

That's the first I saw it, too, but the helicopter seems to fly right into the side of the plane, which is the way I heard it explained early on.
