Fair ~ Do you have a sandwich order? I'm having a Rachel in just a minute. What can I get for you? How about a hot ham and cheese?

Here's my own favorite deli sandwich ... the Rachel (turkey Reuben). And a nice bowl (I would have a cup) of chicken matzo ball soup.

I just read that Sherry Johnston (Levi's mom) was sentenced to 5 years for drug-dealing. Well, that did it, then. The Palins will be trying to figure out some way to deny Levi fathered Bristol's baby now. Can't have a jailbird grandma. (Although based on some of those ethics complaints, God only knows why Grandma Palin's not gonna be joining her shortly.)

If so, hold the sauerkraut. ;D Despite German ancestry, I cannot work up any enthusiasm for sauerkraut. And the soup looks wonderful too. This would be a great winter meal.

I'll take your sauerkraut out. Or I could get you something else.

The only problem with that is that the assertion that it was love would no longer hold water. There is another solution. The baby could be the second coming to mother Bristol.

LoL Air conditioning makes a difference.

My expert panel of one voted this the best corned beef sandwich I saw ... with coleslaw instead of sauerkraut.

Yep. So would Tolstoy. I think they're tragic enough but too trashy for Tolstoy. I have it. Susan Howatch, who wrote big trashy family sagas back in the seventies. Or Barbara Taylor Bradford.

Where were these gun guys speaking out when George Bush was keeping peaceful protest miles away from him? The guy on Matthews was arguing that if you owned a gun legally, you were obviously a law-abiding person (like the guy at Virginia Tech, for example), and you could be allowed in the front row at an Obama town hall. No problem.

Did anyone else see Chris Matthews take down the gun guy? Wow. Yes. He was very proud of his right to bear arms, but very coy about his belief in the Birther movement. In for a penny, in for a pound, I say.
