Mainly because your humble correspondent spent much of the day hunting a particular picture she'd seen on the intertubez just once and was too shocked to copy (that's my story and I'm stickin' to it) and now cannot locate it. We'll all, alas, have to use our imaginations. In any case, all seems to be running in the same tracks as yesterday: the right wing politicians and pundits are telling the same lies to a coterie of slavish devotees too da*mn lazy to do their own research and make up their own minds (which begs the question: which right wingnut is the indisputable Pied Piper?), the middle and left stand around either trying to reason with people who shout louder than they can reason or wringing their hands ineffectually, and only Barney Frank seems to be both taking it AND dishing it out. In short, it reminds me of a great Mac MacAnally song performed by Doc Watson on his 1978 album Look Away! (sorry, no video or audio link available): . . .it's a crazy world, but I live here And if you can hear me singin' so do you I'm turnin' out my nightlight feelin' satisfied Ain't nothin' any one of us can do No, Lord, there's nothin' any one of us can do. . .Takes more than one. We need to raise our voices till they're loud enough to drown out the wingnuts. And here, I guess, is a place to start. Moon promised me deli-style this PM. Sounds good. Wanna blog? If so, see ya in a few minutes.

I have so many deli offerings that it might be too bewildering. Does anyone have any particular favorites? If I don't have what you want, I'll try to find it. Linda, I can put your sandwich together in a minute.

Here's Linda's beef with onions. You'll have to imagine that the roll is rye. Sorry. And you can put on your own mustard so you get it just the way you like it.

I peeked. Does KO have a new tie? Uh--I have a confession to make. Lady Fair's not watching. Again. He could be stark nekkid for all the attention I'm paying. (PS I think Mom's watching Top Chef Masters.)

Linda, I can put your sandwich together in a minute. Onion soup would be lovely too. Yes, it would. Specially in one of those crusty bread bowls.
