Good evening, Fair. You had me at baroque. Thanks for the company. I'm watching the show -- in my own personal fashion -- and the tie seems to be purple with polka dots. My personal potluck tonight is meatloaf -- comfort food for a rough week that will drag on for a while yet. Besides, it's cold here -- in the 60s -- and it's been gloomy all day. I'm taking orders for items in my bucket or otherwise.

Hope I'm not too late for the meatloaf. There's plenty of meatloaf, and the bucket is always open.

Tex-Mex works for me, long as the peppers aren't too hot. Hi, Linda. Still trying to send you rain.

Moon, did you say the tie was purple with polka dots? Good Lord. If I were watching, that would scare me off.

Well, hearing no other requests, here's something for State Fair season and the hot weather folks ... coney dogs. Seems fitting since Anthony Weiner is coming up.

So let's open with a familiar Bach piece, "Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring". We used to sing a vocal setting of this in church choir. www.youtube.com/watch?v=FwWL8Y-qsJgBaroque and potluck. Excellent idea. (And, Big Man--Lady Fair's going for a personal best here. Digestion has nothing whatsoever to do with it.
