That is sweet. I steamed the wrinkles out of the sweater, you know. LOL--while I daydreamed about disarranging that oh-so-silver hair running my fingers through it-- ;D Oh. My. God. How do you expect me to sleep after that?

Speaking of Bill ... he said that he tried to register for Blogstream but got a message that they're not accepting new members. That doesn't bode well, Fair. No, it doesn't. And da*mned if I know where to move to should it collapse. Blogspot is a pain in the arse and I'm not sure how stable Typepad is. Not to mention that I'd probably lose everything. I stopped archiving it a long time ago ... after my hard drive blew up.

I'm glad I did, cause it is a good one. BTW, you know Heath Shuler--the former UT quarterback who now represents the district around his hometown of Bryson City in NC? (That would be NC-11) Blue Dog Dem, a member of The Family living in the house on C Street--well, he's being investigated over some sort of land deal involving TVA and skulduggery--I think that's right. He was in real estate and development before he got into politics. We used to joke down home about running him and Peyton Manning for Pres. & VP--Peyton for Pres., mind--when Peyton got old enough to run!!--Not a good idea though if he's with the weirdos in the House on C Street.

So I've got most of my archives.

Lost too many trying to post them and the 'Stream suddenly time out on me. So I've got most of my archives. I do them in Word, too, but I make so many modifications before I actually post them that the drafts are mostly useless and I don't want to clog up my hard drive now that my computer is so fast. I should be using my new external drive for that.

Is Peyton Manning married? Yes. To his college sweetheart. Her name's Ashley, I think.

BTW, having forgotten velocirapture and Dr. Sereno completely, how about if we finish up with a pic of Hampson instead? This one's my new favorite: That is sweet. I steamed the wrinkles out of the sweater, you know. Ooooo what a cutie!

Hadn't heard. Usually it's half, isn't it? Mine was, back at the factory, at $30 a wk. when we shut down; family was something like sixty a week. At the store I never knew what the premium was; they pd. the whole thing. It's all over the board. Some pay more and some pay less. But if the ones who are paying more suddenly decide to cut it off, a lot of people will be suffering might big effective pay cuts. As an employer who pays health insurance premiums for my employees, this plan on the table is terrible. I would never drop my employees health insurance. I certainly would not go for a plan that would it mandatory for them to pay those premiums..they are simply too high for the average person. Giving Medicare to everyone who isn't insured makes more sense, getting rid of Worker's Comp would allow employers to better be able to pay for some of their employees health plans. Workers Comp is shame. If employers already offer health insurance, this is paying double. It is not needed unless an employer is not offering insurance. I pay way too much WC. With health insurance premiums based on age, they continue to climb. I try and keep premiums down by letting the co-pay be higher. Something has to be done to make it easier for employers and people to afford health care.
