It goes to show a couple of things. First, the arrogance of Sarah Palin, if only one third of the clothes have been returned. And second, the general attitude of the RNCs toward charities. Take designer clothes and stuff them in garbage bags. Like a trip to Goodwill or the Salvation Army. Won't matter if the clothes are ruined in the process. It's just poor people anyway. What more do they deserve?

If they were capable of any kind of rational thought, they could auction them off and make who knows how much money. Probably enough to pay themselves back AND give to charity. I know there is a charity in New York that helps women dress for job interviews, women who otherwise would just give up for lack of a decent interview outfit. They (the RNC) don't even have the imagination to help others. Or, apparently, the inclination.

No doubt more persecution by her political enemies. Bless her little shriveled heart.

Food for thought-- Sorry, not hungry. Not hungry for THAT, anyway. Oh well...it's no worse than the last pic I seen--it was King of the Hill themed--horrifying to say the least. By the way, what's this I hear that Doofushead is getting her own daytime talk show?

Today's pronouncement: www.nytimes.com/2009/01/29/opinion/29thu3.html?th&emc=th"Suing the Belugas Published: January 28, 2009 In October, while Gov. Sarah Palin of Alaska was campaigning to be vice president, the federal government added the beluga whales in the state’s Cook Inlet to the endangered species list. At the time, Governor Palin opposed the listing, saying it would be “premature.” (She said the same thing about protecting polar bears.) Now Ms. Palin has announced that she will sue to remove the whales from the protection of the Endangered Species Act. In Governor Palin’s view, what is really endangered is Alaska’s economic growth. Cook Inlet, the long arm of water that reaches toward Anchorage from the Gulf of Alaska, is one of the busiest and fastest-developing regions in the state. There are plans for gas and oil development, an expansion of the Port of Anchorage, as well as a possible new bridge. Ms. Palin argues that the state has already taken adequate measures to protect the belugas. The numbers certainly argue otherwise. The beluga population in Cook Inlet last year was estimated at 375, down from a high of 653 in 1994. In explaining her intent to file suit, the governor has challenged virtually every aspect of the listing decision — including the scientific finding that these belugas are a separate and distinct genetic population seriously at risk. Former Senator Ted Stevens went so far as to call the listing “a deliberate targeting of an area vital to the Alaskan economy.” There is no doubt that Cook Inlet is vital to Alaskans. But it is also vital to the species that live in its waters. Listing the belugas does not mean shutting down the economy of the Cook Inlet. It means adjusting it to accommodate species that cannot adapt or survive any other way. " Personally, I thinks she likes the caviar.

Now, we do not want anybody in Alaska to be injured, killed, or anything like that, but an event such as scientists are warning of MIGHT make Sarah P. settle down and actually act like a governor instead of an endless campaign commercial: news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20090130/ap_on_re_us/alaska_volcanoA volcano called Redoubt, which in Sept. 1992 dumped ash on Wasilla, is making noises; small earthquakes, farting and belching. And Alaska volcanoes tend to be the big boomy kind, not lava flows like Hawaii. Surely that would keep her attention for a day or two.

Great idea. This stuff is always fun. Let's recap what we've learned: From the first article: TMZ had enough scruples not to publish the REALLY outrageous allegations, but not enough scruples to refrain from bragging about it. From the second article: A whole new way of looking at "original intent," and ways to use jugs other than just for turning water into wine. From the third article: Americans are really screwed up. "In the same way the public was stunned by how anyone as homely as Boyle could release such beauty when she opened her mouth to sing, they were similarly stunned by how someone as physically beautiful as Carrie Prejean was able to release such meanspirited divisiveness when she opened hers to speak."And this was some sort of surprise? For the love of heaven, what have we become?

Frontiers in Stupid, I like that one. She certainly is a little trailblazer. Next, she'll be asking them to tear down that wall. I am a bit surprised to hear from her, though. I saw in the checkout line the other day that her chopper had been shot down by an angry.....get this.......MOOSE.

aargh-- can't find the article now, but Sarah was apparently shocked to learn that the US was borrowing money from China. Hannity didn't bother to bring her up to date... Anyway, just when you thought it was safe to go back onto the intertubes, Ms Prejean, the on-again-off-again Ms California, is now off again... www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,525716,00.html
