Hillary Clinton's main obstacle in the Middle East is that she's female. She has the knowledge and brains to do a good job but some (and not all of them are middle-eastern) can't get over the fact that she's a brainy female. As far as Iran is concerned, there's the same problem. If BO were smart, he'd continue to use Bill Clinton in like situations.

Oh my god. Lou Dobbs DOES sound a little like Yoda with normal syntax.

But Obama has to support her or they'll never get over that hurdle. Agreed about Bill.

Sometimes, President Obama goes too far in his attempts to bury the past. Closing the eyes does not make the bogeyman go away. The past should be aired and the guilty punished. Does he really believe that the R's would allow him to get away with illegal actions, lying, cheating and stealing? If he does, then he's a fool. They're demonstrating right now that they would show him no mercy. He had better hope he does nothing between now and 2016 that they could go after him for. And he'd also better hope the republicans don't get Congress back. Can you say impeachment for not having been born in the USA? What I'd like him to do is give the GOP the middle finger and move on!! And look back at history and how well it worked out for Bill Clinton - I don't want another 1994!! And totally frightening could be a one-term democrat and umpteen years of GOP dominance again!!

And if there was anything wrong with Countdown's reporting, it was failure to do the deep analysis of what might have been going on behind the scenes. I MUST have heard that on MSNBC ... didn't he get the memo? In essence, he failed to give BOTH Clinton and Obama any credit for this. I wonder what Obama is working on for the Iran deal. I agree, moon; he failed to give Obama OR Hillary Clinton credit, either!! If he gave Obama credit, that would be giving credit to both Clintons. From what I understand, Hillary Clinton was very involved, as was Al Gore - he didn't mention him, either!! Again, he's really a jerk!! And for Hillary to do a lot of the work, and then let her husband get a lot, or most, of the credit, speaks volumes about her character!! It also speaks to Obama's character!! KO has just lost it!! I think it speaks volumes about their ability to work together as a team for a COMMON goal. I doubt the republicans could do that without tripping over their egos ... Imagine McCain and Palin working effectively, either together or with any of the other republican leadership, to get this done. And who the heck could THEY have sent ... might have been Bill Clinton, after all.

Too true. Which is why the democrats have to watch their backs in 2010, and TRY to get something done, for heaven's sake.

Ah, a story about himself. What a novelty. HEY COUNTDOWN ... I LOVE YOUR EGO. This self-adoration has been going on for a long time now. He must be feeling more insecure than usual. What's next- suspenders AND a belt?

But I also have to look at Middle-Eastern countries that have elected female leaders. Benazir Bhutto, Ellen Sirleaf, Pratibha Patil and others. In many ways, the Middle East is more progressive than us in the area of females elected president - !!

Well. Any segment that takes a shot at Michele Bachmann is a mighty fine story by me.

Pam, you might be able to watch Rachel without wanting to throw up your toenails. She, like Chris Matthews, is not afraid of real debate.

Pam, you might be able to watch Rachel without wanting to throw up your toenails. She, like Chris Matthews, is not afraid of real debate. What bothers ME is how Countdown appears to be afraid to encounter REAL opposing political viewpoints, but does not hesitate to bait and mock his media rivals, as long as they're not sitting across the table.

I know she's not; I have forgiven her, too; she came in late to the bash Hillary party but has come around. I always liked her so much on Air America and was thrilled she got her own show. Sadly, it's when I began boycotting MSNBC. I'll watch her, but I can't tonight; my neighbor needs my help tonight and I have to go very soon!! I've had a great time and I hope to be here tomorrow with my family!! HUGS & PEACE!!

This had definitely NOT gone unnoticed by Jon Stewart - he mocks FOX for their idiocy, hypocrisy, etc.; however, he also mocks MSNBC - he once called it the "Obama Love Fest Channel" -I love it when people call it as it IS!! MSNBC has lost it!! Well, KO has, the rest did during the primaries, but most have come around - too late for some, and many hurt feelings as a result, including mine; however - watching Stewart mock MSNBC and KO and the rest makes me feel a lot better - I'm not insane, they were, and KO was and is!!

It's a shame that the mainstream feel that they have to come down on one side or the other. It would be great to read, see and hear objectivity in the news.
