I'm starting this thread for all the dog lovers in our group. I don't want the pooties to be the only critters featured here. Even though pooties rule So for you doggie lovers, here's the first of many pictures to come..

I won't argue the point about whether pooties rule if you keep posting these.

As our preacher said this morning, if you want unconditional love, get a dog. He was talking about cats and their independent tendencies. I, personally, have dogs and cats, but I don't think I have ever loved a cat. Respect and affection, I'll give them that, they just seem to be a little more, uh, aloof than dogs.

I agree that dogs are unconditional love. I don't think I have ever loved a cat, either, but maybe that's because I've never had a cat. Quick, someone hand me a cat, and let's see what happens. And make it one of those BIG cats, okay?

Thanks for the doggie pictures, Laura. I know most of us have the fondness for kitties, but I'm a dog-lover.

You are so welcome Nana. You are one of the reasons I decided to post doggie pictures. I'm finding there are so many cute ones with captions. They'll keep coming as long as you and others want them. It's my pleasure.

Both equally cute and lovable. I've had sweet dogs in the past and I loved them dearly. They all BTW loved my cats. Especially my late Pomeranian Molly, who was raised by 5 cats. I'll have to dig out a picture of all those critters together one day. It was the best time of all.

Maybe one day a kitty will make friends with him.

They look like drowned rats, don't they? The one on the right reminds me of my old dog, Jenny.
