Remember this parody of "On Top of Old Smoky"? www.youtube.com/watch?v=xWpSp_glqgkIt began with a playful threat to hunt down Dana Milbank and give him forty lashes with a wet noodle over Hillary Clinton and Mad Bi*tch Beer (not even I'm willing to give him a pass about that, actually) and evolved into meatballs. Wanna blog? If so, see ya in a few. (However, I will not be in the room with the TV. So Big Man, Lady Fair is not watching. Again.)

Good evening, Fair. Too bad you're not watching, but maybe Countdown will be consoled with these.

Good evening, Fair. Too bad you're not watching, but maybe Countdown will be consoled with these. Hi, Moon. He should be as long as the noodles and garlic bread are gluten-free.

I have a couple of side salad choices for anyone who is interested. I'll take the one with the walnuts, please. I went to Panera again on Saturday and had the Fuji Apple Chicken salad. Irresistable!

Hi, Patty. How was your day? Today was a good day. Thanks for asking. How was everyone else's day. Really busy. But otherwise lovely. We're back to open windows around here. How's your mom today, Patty? And any special meatball requests?

Hi, Patty. How was your day? Today was a good day. Thanks for asking. How was everyone else's day. Glad you had a good one. I've had you on my heart all day. As for here, hot, humid, big dark clouds interspersed with this brassy sunshine that looks a bit disconcerting. Got rain in the forecast for the next two days.

I've got news for you, Lawrence O ... Hillary Clinton's supporters and John Edwards' supporters who voted for President Obama all had health care first and foremost in their minds. He needed them to beat John McCain, and he'll need them to get re-elected in 2012. And a certain number of people who were originally Obama supporters -- including this person -- think this is a VERY big deal, especially the public option.
If Obama loses this fight, then the blood is in the water, and heaven help us all.

Today was a good day. Thanks for asking. How was everyone else's day. Really busy. But otherwise lovely. We're back to open windows around here. How's your mom today, Patty? And any special meatball requests? Moon-the weather here is absolutely gorgeous today. Not too hot and low humidity with a nice breeze. I haven't heard from AZ yet since they are 2 hrs behind. But it helped me hear other people's experiences here. And I am trying to be positive and not let it get me down. I have had so many wonderful times with my Mom, that I need to focus on those thoughts right now. And the food selection thus fare is great. I am going to feast on a little bit of everything. I did a bad thing tonight. I just did not have the energy to make dinner. So I had watermelon, and that wasn't enough, so I washed the watermelon down with 2 chocolate chip cookies ;D
