Well, they cancelled the ceremony where they planned to retire his number last year, and this year, I didn't hear anything about re-scheduling it, even when it was thought he would retire. If his number is retired at Lambeau this year, it will be because the linebackers have ripped it off his purple back. He should not expect to be treated with kid gloves. Well, John David Booty, who apparently "gave" his number four to Favre, may be better off!! Like anyone is ever going to retire HIS number.

I liked the Nathan Gunn you posted at FB last night. That was SWEET. I missed it - offline all day and all - I'll have to visit your page later this evening!! You two are a hoot there!! Culture with a side order of risque (pronounced risk, not ris-kay), as Cledus Maggard used to say. ;D

I posted a link on Facebook about Mr. Novak's passing, and I know how sick he must have been - I only wish, and I know this sounds very cold, he confessed everything he knew about BushCo's involvement, as well as his, with the outing of Valerie Plame!!

I've examined this closely, and it looks like layers of ganache. Wow.

That doesn't sound cold. I'm sorry he's dead ... I don't like people to die, but I'm also sorry that he wasn't held to account for his role in the Plame thing. Armitage was his source, I believe, but the spirit of Novak's act was every bit as bad as that of Armitage. I think he's equally culpable.

You can be sure that he had the best healthcare that money can buy.

I missed something, which has been fairly easy for me of late - too much on my mind!! But I do need to share something with all of you - RANA IS HOME!! And for good!! She was planning a week trip here this week; she came home last Monday night and it's a long, sad story, really!! But Reema was at camp; she's a YMCA Counselor, and it was hush-hush as Rana wanted to surprise her!! It's bitter-sweet!! I love her being home; however, I know what a big disappointment the Peace Corps was for her - and MANY, MANY others around the world!! It's my next letter to whoever will listen in government!!

The statute of limitations on that is apparently less than nine months.

What's unforgiveable to me is how they've collectively failed to take responsibility for the thousands of lives that have been lost in Iraq, all for nothing. They still think what they did is noble and patriotic.

She is, and pretty much was from day one; she tried very hard to start her own projects - as none were assigned - many stay and love the two-year deal of drinking, partying and not paying to live in a beautiful apartment on the beach - not Rana - that's NOT what she signed up for - she really wanted to make a difference - it was not going to happen!! It's sad!!
